The PentaGel is a stabilizing mixture destined for the manufacturing of jelly mixes and ready jelly desserts and toppings. 

The final jelly is characterized by:

Off-white powder.
Smell: no typical smell.
Flavor: salty.

Application
Jellifying additive for the manufacturing of jellified desserts (excluding jelly mini-cups, jelly candies or fruit based jellies).  Recommended concentration in the final jelly: 0.6%. 

Ingredients
Carrageenan E407, konjac E425, tri sodium citrate E331iii, adipic acid E355, potassium chloride E508.

Shelf life
At least 12 months in closed original package.

Storage
Dry, cool and light-protected conditions.

Packing
25 Kg cartons with inner polyethylene bags.
 

Important note: The PentaGel shall not be used for the manufacturing of Jelly mini cups (Jelly mini-cups are jelly confectionery of a firm consistency, contained in semi-rigid mini-cups or mini-capsules, that can be ingested by sucking the jelly out of the cup or by exerting pressure on the mini-cup or mini-capsule to project the confectionery into the mouth).  The product shall not be used for jelly candies. Industrial jelly formulas

Instant Jelly Mix

  • Sugar - 96 Kg
  • PentaGel 5570 - 3.5 Kg
  • Flavorings
  • Colorings
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Prepare by stirring with boiling water in a 1:4.5 ratio (100g jelly mix + 450ml boiling water).  Dispense and refrigerate. 

Ready Jelly 

  • Water - 81 Kg
  • Sugar - 18 Kg
  • PentaGel 5570 - 0.6 Kg
  • Flavorings
  • Colorings
Mix thoroughly all ingredients excluding the water.  Stir well with boiling water until full dissolving of the powdered ingredients. Dispense, pack and refrigerate.
